Daniela Cardillo is a jewellery designer who hand crafts her pieces using horse hair (with a technique that stems from Victorian mourning jewellery) and rodent bones. Whilst these materials might sound a little ghoulish, Daniela works her magic to create some of the most beautiful and interesting jewellery FAKE has come across. She is influenced by Taxidermy, hunting trophies and the concept of the animal as a power and status symbol.

Daniela’s pieces are currently on show at the ‘New Visuality’ exhibition at FAKE stockist, According to McGee in York.
